Peter Feinstein
Co-founder and Venture Partner

Peter Feinstein is a co-founder of BioVentures Investors with Marc Goldberg, forming its first fund in 1998, and is currently a Venture Partner.

Prior to BioVentures Investors, he served as Chairman and CEO of Feinstein Kean Healthcare (FKH), a communications and strategic consulting firm which he founded in 1987. Under Peter’s leadership, FKH grew from a start-up to the dominant communications and investor relations firm in the biotechnology industry.

Peter entered the biotechnology industry in December, 1981, as a consultant to Biogen. Following the Biogen IPO in 1983, he was brought on by Dr. Gilbert to serve as Vice-President, Corporate Communications at Biogen. While Vice President, he oversaw global investor relations, among other responsibilities.

Peter was a co-founder of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council with Marc Goldberg, serving as Executive Director, and was a member of the Board of Directors for 12 years. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Associates of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, where he co-chaired the Whitehead Circle, and on the Executive Board of the Health Science and Technology Division of Harvard and MIT.
